Carriage Stop
Has anyone fitted an adjustable carriage stop to a Sheraton 9 ? Any ideas, drawings, tips or videos ? It would be handy for repetition work.
Thanks. Paul, in Melbourne.

Hi Paul,
The link takes you to one that I made for my Myford lathe, you will have to modify it to suit your Sheraton 9 lathe.

In the Model Engineer magazine in Volume 146, Issue 3628 dated 7th. March 1980 on page 297 is a very good construction article for two carriage stops by R. F. Cutler. These are for a 10" Southbend. One a dead stop and the other is a micrometer stop.
These would come close to your Sheraton. You may need to vary the construction to suit your bed but this would not be difficult.
If I look really hard I could probably find my copy of the magazine, and scan the article for you - unless other members on the Forum have a copy more readily available.
PM if you want to me to find my copy.
