Control voltage TRFMR in AL-335 Lathe
Anyone had this fail on you? I just have.
Hadn't used the lathe for a few months, go to use it and the earth leakage on the shed trips out....
Turns out the 240/ 24v transformer for the control circuit is cooked.
I've found a suitable replacement from RS and am in the process of making an adapter plate to mount it in the electrical housing.
The VA rating is high enough but it has 2 secondary windings, so I will have to run them in parallel, A small price to pay for a $35 replacement. I has not going to try and get one from H&F....lol
