Myford backgear rumble
Friends,
My ML7R has a grumbling, rumbling noise only in backgear.
It does not seem to make any difference to cut quality, winding of springs etc, and does not seem to be aparrent in normal speed... -

For years now I have owned a Myford ML7R (Long bed) with Imperial leadscrew. It is still very accurate, and the change from Imp to Metric is a simple substitution of change gears, 1 Minute or so....
