I'll turn the blade around. Currently Im only cutting steel and the stroke rate is slow enough not to heat it up but thank for the info if I ever need to cut aluminium.

Yes. The original Heko had some sort of spring...
Yes. The original Heko had some sort of spring set-up to apply downward pressure. I might have a look at how that worked. If anyone has an original Heko, some referance pics would be handy.

I was searching for information on one I just picked up. I believe it's a modified Heko which I just further modified. Took 3 hrs to cut through 62mm bright steel. Slow, but who's in a rush!! :U...
