Sheraton 9A for sale

for anyone interested - saw on Facebook tonight that GRAYS Auctions have a Sheraton 9A they are selling - current bid was around $600

looks like it has a Hercus Apron or a Hercus Star wheel on the apron

That star wheel is Sheraton , the Hercus does not have that deep recess, the Hercus is more of a dome or convex shape.

thanks for that, all the Sheratons I'd seen up to now had the plain round knob/handle vs the Hercus star.
On closer inspection I see what you mean about the difference. The Hercus ones I've seen also have only four points on their star wheel - this one has more.

There is always something for me to learn :)
