Hi from the new guy
G'day all.
An ageing ex fitter/turner here, worked in the trade for 35 years, but now driving for a living. Ready to retire, but the gummint won't let me yet.
Didn't think I'd be doing much metalwork at home, but after leaving the trade I brought all my tools and gear home. Started doing a few little bits and pieces, then got myself a little inverter stick welder. Did some more bits and pieces, then got myself a Chinese made 300 x 900 lathe.
Now, if I can get the cook to park her car outside, I'll have plenty of room for the milling machine..............
Looking forward to trying to be a useful member, and getting good advice/help when needed.
Cheers,
Walshy
