My credit union did the same thing. And since they became a bank, they had to engage a credit card fraud prevention service. Now I can’t use my debit card for overseas online purchases, nor can I use it to buy a gift of flowers for my family in Melbourne. Once a transaction is blocked the card is blocked every where. you have to wait on the phone for 20 minutes to get the fraud company to unblock the card.

Anyway, that happened four times in three weeks, so they are now my ex credit union bank. 31 years a customer.

Hey Rob! Thanks. Its been years, but our once endless house build is coming to an end and I once again am thinking about maybe metalworking with something more sophisticated than files and an angle grinder. Hence dipping my toes back in the water here.

im hearing you Graham, personal computer , mob.phone technology moves way to fast, and it seems that the old ways are becoming "out of date" , or "to old fashioned". it seems to me i have to constantly be learning how to operate my computer or phone, simply because the designer has come up with a so called "better" way.

i really feel sorry for the older people , i must be hard for them.
