Unfortunately Facebook Marketplace is to Gumtree as Gumtree was to the Trading post and Ebay.

Sorry to tell you PDW, but it's not spelt Fauxbook, but Feacebook!!!!
It's a bit like some of the modern so called music, they keep leaving letters off or out of the words, like rap should have a C in front of it!!!

I personally liked the 10k surface grinder in one of those sales!

Mark should get one of those very dusty SIPs too.

Not much bidding so far, maybe people are put off by the weight.

Maybe more the lack of demand for needing such a large borer.

Scrap or export is the likely outcome. With a $15 000 removal fee, probably not even worth that in scrap.

Who knows how many tanks and guns and navy ship parts were turned on it.

Are they completely winding up ADI in Bendigo? Has bushmaster production ended?

I think they sold it off ages ago. Looks to be owned by Hoffman Engineering from WA.

Doubt it, there's a place in SW Sydney doing turret work for them still.

That's actually pretty cheap to disassemble and load a machine that big.

Certainly was keen but ended up too busy to make a trip to Bendigo.
Those profile projectors were cheap if working. I am still on the lookout for a SIP or Moore measuring machine if one ever comes up for sale. Only one I have ever seen was at the government standards lab in Melbourne. Can’t imagine they will be selling up any time soon

Hard to imagine much to go wrong, knowing the Swiss though, probably something proprietary like unique bulbs! Those SIP measuring machines, looks like you'd only have a use with a clean room, temperature controlled, reckon extremely rare in any metrology department short of government.
