Useful information for download
Hello All,
This is a link to a lot of files from Model Engineer of ~196?. They are pdf files of workshop techniques.
Hope they are useful.

From the same site;
http://neme-s.org/Shaper%20Books/shaper_book_page.htm
Although it says "Shaper" - there are lathe and mill files in there!
or start on the home page;
http://neme-s.org/index.htm
Page navigation is idiosyncratic.

Multiple file downloads
Hello all,
When I posted the original link, it didn't occur to me that not everyone would know how to download multiple files from a web site.
This subject came up on another forum that I read and this link gives a couple of solutions for Firefox and IE.

Sorry!!!
It just didn't occur to me.
I had downloaded the files some time previously and came across the link in my bookmarks and posted it.
I used to use something else to download multiple files but the add-in for Firefox seems to be very easy to use. Only had it installed for a couple of days so testing is not complete.
Cheers,
Findlay.

Use command line to download heaps of files
Amusing that the blogger in the above link "decided to switch to Linux", but didn't.
If he had, he could be downloading the files with wget, the command line downloader, (also available for Windoze).
One command
Code:wget -r -np --level=1 -A pdf http://www.neme-s.org/Model_Engineer_Files/
Code:FINISHED --2009-07-06 09:42:53-- Downloaded: 476 files, 37M in 4m 13s (151 KB/s)
