Sticky wiggler
Hi members,
During the course of research into, wigglers, edge finders etc, I found in Wikipedia , mention of a "sticky" wiggler. Basically an improvised wiggler consisting of a lump of plasticine pressed onto a shaft fitted into the drill chuck. Into the plasticine is pressed a pin, say a gramophone needle.
Well, I tried this, what is supposed to happen? How does this arrangement pick up a centre pop mark? How do I know the pin is smack on centre?
Your guess is as good as mine.
Regards,
Ken

this method is a quick alternative to the store bought or home made type ,you can use a normal sewing pin if you wish ,bees wax can sometimes be a better choice than plasticine if available, works on the same principle as other methods ,when its running true its found the edge or the centre of your pop, works well and is cheap.
