Make a lifting tool the top plate has matching vway cuts. The bottom has suitable sized plate held together with a lifting eye and nut.

So the move went without issues, just slung it up under the beds and up it went, locked the carriage at the headstock end to stop the sling sliding and it was fine. I’m really happy with it its a well made machine and just big enough. Going to live outside for a bit while we build a new shed for the metalwork division.

It looks very similar to a monarch and a hendey in places, both very sound machines to do anknock off of. Think you got a real good buy there.

Certainly an interesting design for a Japanese lathe. Looks quite nice and cam lock spindle to boot. You definitely can't go wrong for what you paid. Interested in to see more.
