    Default Strange Pliers

Does anyone know what these pliers are used for and if they have a special name?

They're known as multifunction welders pliers.
I bought a pair like that at a welding shop about 10 years ago.

MIG welding pliers, tips are for cleaning the nozzle, small hole is for the contact tip, big hole for the nozzle and cutters for snipping the wire. Hammer bit are for hitting the nozzle to knock out the loose spatter.

Well that's disappointing. Now I'll have to buy a MIG welder to go with them.

I keep mine clean and it to put a loop on the end of TIG electrodes (that signifies the cooler end), changing TIG tips, and handling work pieces that need to be kept clean.

I think Bob may have meant the TIG welding wire
