Not seen a screw head like this before.
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know what this head type is called and/or when I can get a bit for it?
Its on our security sliding fly wire door. It looks like its stopping me from replacing the door rollers that 'she' wants fixing.....
It must be a 'security' type as it has a nub in the centre. A Clover Bit?....lol

Phillips head with a security/anti tamper tang.
Not super common in Australia, potentially difficult to source locally.

Thanks. 'Philips' didn't even enter my mind, but looking at it, it makes sense.
Maybe I could drill a hole in a philips screw driver...will see.

I have successfully used horseshoe head security driver heads (more readily available) on those screws. I had to lightly griund the sides on an angle so they fit the slots.

However you get it out, I can pretty much bet it won’t be included in the reassembled door

Not sure what size your screw head is, but here's a locally available #3 Phillips tamper resistant bit:

I ran into a similar problem a while back, except mine was a security hex key with the centre post, I used a hammer and pin punch to snap off all the stubs then used a regular hex key to undo them.
My Rhino roof racks also have them, but I was a bit more gentle and drilled out a hex key on the lathe for those

If You have Harbor Freight over there the bit is included in their tool bit set.
