Does anyone know anything about this Australian built machine, It has about a 10 inch stroke.

Yes, made by the Lock Tool Company in Melbourne, had one years ago. Flat / square ways, tended to wear at the front, otherwise similar to the Douglas. Can't find my old photo now. Alan.

This is the one a forum member (thanks riverbuilder!) helped ship from interstate recently for me. Looks worse than it is, but haven't had time yet to start the cleanup and rebuild. Sensational little machine, nicely made.

I collected the shaper a few days ago and it is now in the shed,

Does anyone have a manual for this machine?

might be lucky to find one, no harm in asking.

if you are after general info on shaper use there are manuals online Kay Fisher's Metal Shaper Columns

this one is a good manual on the southbend South Bend Lathe Works - Publication Reprints - How To Run A Metal Working Shaper (Edition 3, 1954) | VintageMachinery.org
