Default Help needed to identify these parts

I've got 4 sets of these blocks with the only identifying marks being CU350, CU400, CU500 & CU650. They have mirror polished hexagonal sections of various sizes in the centre section ... hence the different numbers. My theory is some sort of hammer mill maybe.DSCN1252.jpgDSCN1251.jpg

The other piece looks like it goes in a lathe tool post and has a universal type joint with a collet for holding the shafts which also screw together. This one I'm really lost on.DSCN1253.jpgDSCN1254.jpg

Thank you Rick ... obvious really but it's pretty serious cable they'll be used on.

Now for the other little trinket.

Thank you Neil. 60 years in the trade & never seen let alone used one of them so it looks like I've got another useless museum piece to go with my toolmakers buttons.

Here's another strange one I found in the cleanup. I know what it is now but without the bits that screw to the jaws I couldn't figure it out. This tool has a 1" dia spigot so I'd say it's spent a lot of it's life in a turret lathe.DSCN1283.jpgDSCN1284.jpg

I think that last item might be a cut knurler, if you need wheels for it i have bought them from Millers tooling in qld (zeus brand) but they will only work if its a 15 degree angle on those end faces.
