    I picked up a jar opener from Lee Valley years ago that works like a charm to let the air in the jar. Maybe a little too costly for you to import one in but you can certainly make one out of the other seatbelts from that car.

    Kry the pressure build up in the piston is the problem if iit was there it might work.

    Like I said it was a wild thought, not having used/seen one. I went the lazy way, and bought a Milwaukee cordless one, when you let go of the trigger, it winds back enough to release the pressure in the tube/sausage.
