Stuck Lock Knob Bolt - Tablesaw
I am restoring an old tablesaw - Woodman TS-222 (MBS-300) with sliding table attachment.
The locking knob bolt on the main tracking wheel shaft of the sliding table is stuck fast, I think it's a little bent. Pics - https://imgur.com/a/m24EuWH
The instruction manual is bare, but it seems the bolt is just sitting on top of the internal shaft (which also appears to be stuck tight). The side bolt then locks the shaft in place at the desired height. I need the wheel to rise about 1cm.
I've tried squirting WD-40 into the threads, as much pressure as I can etc - But it won't budge. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum
A bit of heat may help along with the WD-40.
If you change your location, you might find a member nearby who could visit (bringing a large hammer or something) to assist in freeing things up. I think I know what you want to do from the picture, but nothing is better than a personal eyeballing.

Well, half a result today - The bolt is free, the shaft is not
Pics - https://imgur.com/a/FzgEN8s
Managed to use a bigger pair of vice grips and wiggle the bolt back and forth and eventually got it to back out. The thread was just rusted and mangled..
The shaft though, is still stuck fast. I tried using a hammer and steel rod to bang it out, nothing moved and I can't build a lot of momentum as the frame is in the way of a good swing.
I then tried using a bit of steel rod and a car jack to try and force the shaft out and it wouldn't budge...the jack started bending
So somehow the shaft that should be free-sliding is wedged in. Must be some rust, but wow it must be some thing to be that rock solid..

Welcome to the forum. I found Sea Foam - Deep Creep works quite well. A bit of heat with some oil may also do the job.

I assume its the threaded rod with the plastic knob on it?
can you get the plastic knob off and dismantle any further? As others have said, use some heat, but...
get a few cycles of heating and cooling - must allow it to cool right down (do it four or more times), maybe even do it over a few days. you dont want it be glowing, but a few hundred degrees should be enough.
though unless you can get it apart more it may be difficult to get the heat into the right bits, but no harm in trying.
