    Default Freight Melbourne to Brisbane

Hello all. I have seen a few things for sale in Melbourne that I would have liked to purchase such as a shaper and surface grinder.
Does anyone here know of a truckie who does small back loads from Melbourne up to SE QLD. It does not hurt to ask.

I do maybe but atm there are tight restrictions on them due to C19.

You could try Cranston’s transport or a local intestate freight business. I thought freight is exempt from lockdowns and movements.

What's the size/weight of the item/s you're looking at getting? Will be going to Melbourne with a tandem trailer to pick up a mill and then (possibly) onto Newcastle if and when the borders reopen.
Could get it part way there for you.

It would be this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/14412131...wAAOSwzzBg9-Xs Hercus surface grinder.
I have a contact in Newcastle so that may work.

I just have to decide if I buy as I have not had one before.

That'll fit on the Triton no problem. Let me know if you go ahead with it, and I'll PM you my email address.
