Help with German translation please
Awkward situation here. I am in the process of a purchase from a German site. Did what I thought I was supposed to do and was making purchase and has gone through PayPal, pay in four payments. First payment has gone through my bank. Now when I go to complete purchase something is not right and I can't read German, so I can fix it. I can send a link to the site.

If you google German translation and copy and paste into that it will give you a reasonable translation. If it is not perfect try a second site.

I've translated the page which says among other things, that shipping address is incomplete and I need to specify transport but I can't see how to fix this. I am not sure they even ship to Australia now as it's not in the options.

If you want to reply to the email and don't speak German, type your question into the translator and convert English to German. As a tip I would mention that you are not fluent in German and are also using a translator.
There may also be some confusion as to what country you are. For some reason Austria and Australia get confused. I have even seen a coffee cup purchased in Austria that says "There are no Kangaroos in Austria". If the German did not read the information properly he may be thinking the wrong country.

"There are no kangaroos in Austria" is not quite true. They do have them, but are not common! See BBC News from 2018:

More seriously.
Ring the Company in Germany! They will have english speaking staff. UK is so close, and there is lots of trade across the Channel. Could be lot quicker. Remember the time difference! Summer time in Germany at the moment, so watch that too.

Use google chrome.
It can translate in-browser.

We also have some German speakers on this forum so a quick PM to them and I'm sure that they would help. Joe Hovel and Welder are two that come to mind, bound to be many others as well.

Looking at PayPal help and have discovered that they will probably void the transaction if I do not complete the order within 72 hours. So I will see what happens there. Thanks for all the tips.

Hi Joe,
That's very handy to know you can help out, i may have to ask your for your help soon. I am in discussion at the moment with a German chap who lives in Slovak republic. He can write English which is so far not to bad to understand, i will ask him if it's easy for him to write in German?
