I'd say it's a discontinued line, as I've not seen it in a LOOOOONG time. Are you after something with a square edge? if a radius is OK, you could get a sheet metal place to fold it.

Wow just went on a Google search and.found it's not available as I haven't bought it for that many years.
I remember buying it in Duragal angle with a radius edge

Just in case somebody's thinking of welding Duragal, I will report my unhappy experience with that.
All nice and straight when bought, the 65x65 angle, 5mm thick piece got badly out of shape upon welding it.
I guess it's only made for attachment by bolts and nuts.

Same. I'm doing some repairs on a trailer that uses it. Local supplier says not available, 3mm min.
A steel supply I used to use claim to have 50 x 2.5mm gal.

If you're really set on it you could buy some 50x50x2* and cut it in two. When I've done that sort of thing it has comes out "pretty square".

*Square tube that is, even 1.6mm is listed if you like

Never had a problem with any sort of Duragal or any other steel, maybe it the way your welding it maybe.

About a year ago I found a couple of 1.8m lengths at our local Mitre 10 but it must have been old stock because when I went to buy some a few weeks back there was none left

2mm angle is an obsolete size in hot rolled, has been for about 30ish years. You can buy duragal in smaller material, but in 50mm the smallest material is 2.5mm

For those suggestions of buying 50x2 SHS and sectioning it, it can’t be done to dimension using 50mm, it will end up undersized. You need to move up a size to 60mm to be able to cut 50mm out of it.

Unless you specifically need a 2mm angle it will be way easier to design around using a 50x3.

Hey China can you get someone local to fold it for you? I'd just go to my local steel fab place and get it folded if I didn't need it longer than 2400.

Thanks for the replies, I think I will go the have someone fold it rout, in which case I will probably change the design.

Surely the difference in weight between 2mm and 3mm would be insignificant compared to the weight of the fire bricks?

No even at 2mm the frame will weigh more than the bricks.
