Rota and other metal parts drawers
Hi all, as part of completing my list of jobs I've never got around to, one item is to restore my parts drawers ive collected over time. I have 2 sets of Original Rota that are standard size that are near perfect condition with stickers and all which I won't touch, I have a smaller one with a handle and a large Rota emblem pressed into the top with the pull out lever that locks drawers I . Then I have about 4 others that are in good structural condition with a few dints to correct but have been painted over the years and no way of really identifying them. I have proper paint and guns ready to paint and plan to match colour and restore my old vice and other small bits if metal to match around garage.
From the Rota's I have there seems to be a lot of different designs, is there any catalogue of the different types?
Can you still get replacement stickers?
Cheers
Dane

Rota were bought out by Stanley Group in the earlier half of the 90’s, unlikely stickers are available ex OEM as spares. If you have a picture of the artwork, you can get them replicated by a commercial sign writing outfit that does screen print. That won’t be cheap as there’s a bit of labour in set up. If you’re really keen, it’s not difficult to do so you could do it yourself, plenty of videos on YouTube on the topic. You could potentially also look at replicating them in vinyl, depends on how authentic you want them.
