Angle on the upper die/knife is about 60deg, the material is 16mm hot rolled.

The lower die is 40x4 angle.

Haven’t tried anything thin on it but going by the rule of 8 (die opening should by about 8x material thickness) it would need a much narrower lower die.

Ideally the tooling should be hardened, but for home use generally mild steel works fine.

Don’t use a fine edged MS upper die for bending rod though
