Default Anyone recognise this carbide-blade countersink?

I picked this up (like most of my stuff) in a box of odds & ends at a clearing sale a few years ago. I like the design but there are multiple chips in the blade so it's only useful at diameters that correspond to the undamaged parts of the blade. Can anyone point me to where I might find a replacement blade for it?

Thanks for the pic Pete. Could it be reground? If not, could we have a minimum size required, someone may have a piece or know where it could be obtained.

If there is not enough to regrind you can (or could ) buy Tungsten blanks from kennametal

I'll have to dismantle to determine if it might be able to be reground, it has a groove all the way along the edge like a chipbreaker, forming an acute edge at the face. It looks to me like it's supposed to be replaceable.

That looks like a product that was made by a company called Fring Engineering that used to be in Bayswater.
I don't think they are still in business though.

...and if it is a minimum size, you could silver solder or braze a short bit of mild steel to the chuck end and fil/grind it to the size of the carbide bit before regrinding it....

I have a few Microstop Adjustable Depth Countersinks with replaceable T/C tips and Pilots that are mainly used in the aircraft industry. Not the same as yours but cutters for these are readily available from the USA.
The most common countersink angle for these is 100 degrees but other angles are available. The photo shows cutter retaining screws and 100 and 120 cutter angles on different size cutter heads.
