Thread: HV-6 Rotary table spare parts

Hello all

Has anyone discovered an outlet selling spare parts for the HV-6 style rotary tables. I have chipped a couple of teeth on the 90 tooth worm wheel.
Therefore I require a new worm wheel.

It would appear that the worm was not fully engaging and that caused the teeth not to full engage.
I would like to find a new gear but if I can't I might be able to narrow the gear and put a spacer behind it so the worm runs on a different part,

Can you get it apart for a measurement? If you can get the throat diameter we can work out the pitch and you might be able to find and modify a stock gear or have one made

I found some 90:1 worm wheels, but without dimensions I can't say if it would be useful to you
