Supplier advice for rubber bush/mount.
Imagine if you will a rubber grommet with ID ⅜" designed to go through a hole that is 11/16" in diameter in a piece of ⅜" plate.
This is what the 3 motor plate isolation bushes in my Steelfast 370M looked like before oil rotted them away.
Has anybody got any ideas on where I might find such a thing? I have already tried Fitch/UES in Adelaide.

Hi Eric, I doubt that you'll get a proper grommet in the size you're after, but I found something that may be adaptable for you.
Here's the link;

Does it have to be rubber?? There use to be a place on Manton St Hindmarsh that made gear using urethane, similar to suspension bushes, it was called Agriculture Rubber and Plastics, they're now out Greenfields

If you've got a lathe, you can knock some up out of polyurethane rod....
https://superpro.com.au/blog/116-superpro-poly-rods
Superpro have a few stiffnesses, plus there are some helpful maching tips on the page, but there are many other suppliers.
I've turned some polyurethane before, with a fairly high rake tool (although not as high as Superpro are suggesting), and it turns fairly well once you get the hang of the feed required. Haven't drilled it though, the stuff I've got was actually tube with a 1/2 hole in the middle which was all I needed. Don't know that it's available in anything smaller than that ID, but it might be.

anything on this page
Pages from ues_cat_f_2.jpg
As Adam suggests, I reckon there would have to be something in the Mackay range that would suit

I've been making simple multi piece moulds and casting a few different grommets for an old car project. Small quantities of PU rubber liquids come from Rowe Trading in Adelaide.
A crude sketch saves a thousand words.
