I was taught on a bench grinder but after I made a simple jig for the belt linisher it’s all that i use now, on site if anything needs it I just flip the belt sander over and use that, lost count of the times carpenters have watched in amazement and then asked me to touch up a couple for them. Sharpening stuff is a lost art.
