My Uncle was a pattern maker old school, wood lathe, chisels, files, rasps, etc. etc., he had hundred's and hundred's of premade letters and various other common shapes, all ended up in a skip when he died ( but that is another story)

There was a cupboard full of letters of all sizes at the Toowoomba Patternshop when Grays auctioned it a few years ago.
Being in Sydney I didn’t bid even though it only went for a few $ from memory.
My mate the ex patternmaker in Brissy later said he’d been to the inspection and would have been happy to chase it up for me.
You have to Chase stuff and store it that’s where the forum is great with guys offering stuff they have no interest in but know others will.
Thinking that leather lineshaft belting from Oxy and Bert.
