    Default dovetail cutters again

    Hi guys,
I'm looking at buying a couple of dovetail cutters just in case I need one sometime.
Where would I decide to use 60deg, 45deg etc. ? or what's the preference of angle to job type ?
I notice my mill's dove tails are about 60deg so I'd start with one of them I think.

Measure that. I discovered some dovetails that were 55 degrees on my mill.

In general 60 is a nice angle to have. It really comes down to strength - how much material is there to resist being sheared off. Particularly with cast iron, thinner sections could be prone to damage.
