    Anyone recognise this dividing head?
200mm/8” center height. No sign of any brand on it.

    Nice score.
I think it belongs to my Horizontal Mill, because that doesn't have a name on it either

This is mine. Not the best photo, but it's all I could find on short notice...

May well be an Elliott / Victoria, they came in a couple of different centre heights- my memory is sketchy but I was scouring the net for months for one a few years back. I ended up buying an Italian 'Paradisi' universal. The one you have is a universal, useful as-is for simple indexing and dividing but there are a lot of gears and banjos that go with it to enable compound dividing and helical work. I made a start on producing the banjo and gears for mine but it has been shelved for a good while now.

Thanks - but looks quite different. The input drive is completely enclosed on this one, rather than the lumpy partial housing on yours.

It’s green under the crud, and the spindle has these scallops out of it. There’s also a short taper on it

Thanks Pete. I recall when you got yours. It was in better condition than this I think.

At the moment I don’t have a need for the external gears, but will add them to the future project list

Just need to sort out a chuck and arbor for it.
