Here is some pics . If your interested good . Don't take this wrong friends but, Please don't give me the Tut Tut safety talk.
I'm happy and grateful to be tought anything you know that I don't though.

I know these things are dangerous and I'm my own Boss and no one else is going near My machine .

These heads are not Legal in the UK any more . Maybe other places . It doesn't matter . I'm not breaking any Australian law using them in my workshop. I'm just saying this because Ive seen the forum react in all sorts of ways.

First is a pic off the internet of the square head and the blade projection as used or was used in a lot of places years ago. They are known to be good and safe used and fitted properly , checked and tested for no bends and flat surfaces before fitting and use.

Second is My head with one of its old blades similar to what I need now but made in two parts . The cutting piece is slim , maybe 4mm soldered into a rebate.
I just need different angles and although this on my blade is a long slot , I could just get by with a hole and grind my cutters to suit if I have to. Or less of a slot. Just cold cutting the HSS and not playing with temper must be the safest way to go Im sure .

Third is the serrated back modern head next to my old one that I may upgrade to one day . Similar projection so just as devastating to get tangled up in but less likely to fly out given some neglect and mistreatment .

The green one is the Wadkin ECA , second pic is the two verticle spindles with square heads mounted and two blades on the bottom . Im setting up for two on bottom and two on top . The grey machine is online atm for sale . You can just see its two secondary heads on the right . The bottom is a serrated knife head and the top is a square head fitted with a HSS blade as I need.
