Chipmaster oil
Hi all, love this site, chased up a steady for my lathe pronto. Have begun my resto’ and can any Chipmaster owners out there tell me what headstock/gearbox oil they use? The types specified in manual are not available. No variator on mine runs off 2 HP DC motor (Still gets to 3000 rpm).
cheers!

Hi appleton
I use Shell Morlina S2 BL 10. this is the equivalent of the oils listed in the manual.
Can be used in the head stock and gearbox. Think blackwoods and other places probably sell it.
Cheers

I have about 15 litres of the Morlina, how much do you need?
