    Thumbs up Newby with problems

    Hello all,
I have just purchased a CNCEST 6040 machine, have it all put together, and have it working OK, except for the for the spindle, which runs Ok but very slow, if I up the speed it stops, this is only a setting, I hope.
Would appreciate any help I can get here, thanks a lot.

    Hi thanks for the reply.
The speed can be controlled either by a pot or via pwm. Both work, but very slow, ajust for a faster speed it will stop.
It gives an error code E u what that means I do not know.
Yes it is water cooled and no it is not yet connected, But as far as I can see from what others say it should work without the cooling for a short period

Well anything to do with my various hobbies, I have a design ready to make a case for a high speed flash unit at the moment.
Nothing else on the drawing board at present time.

    Do you have the manual?
I think this is it https://www.china-cncrouter.com/down...6433598141.pdf
It is very frustrating when you have a new toy and it won't play with you

The one I have is somewhat different to that one, different control box.
I can run all the axes fine, the spindle will run up to 5000 speed but stops past that, But I am sure it is not running at that speed because I can stop it with one finger.
