Hi Greg,
I never used a dark room as such ! No windows or light bulb in the room. That resist is not very sensitive any way, though it was more sensitive after it had dried. But you did need the sun or a lot of bright light to expose the image. I used to make up three or four screens at a time and used layers of brown paper between them to keep the light out until they were needed.Best Regards:
Baron J.

Greg,
I may be able to help you with a couple of items on your 'yet to make list'.
I can photograph and measure both the belt guard spring latch and the 'just about essential to have' table support ring clamp. The Workmax came with the clamp and I kept it for the Tough which shares the same 2 1/2" column diameter.

First the Latch
Greg,
The latch is 1.0mm thick. Print the first photo to scale and off you go.

Bob.
PS. the 5/32" bit is a good fit in both internal bends. A 64th either side didn't fit.Last edited by Anorak Bob; 6th Jul 2020 at 02:33 PM. Reason: Bit about the bit added.

Legend. Thank you.
EDIT: I am figuring if I anneal some band saw blade, bend it, then re-harden it, that should get it back to springy.
EDIT 2: Or butcher an el-cheapo paint scraper ....

You sir, also qualify for "legend" status! Very nice. I can use those for sure. Excellent. And the resolution will be fine I reckon. Thank you very much!
I had no idea it was straight across the top. The pics I have seen make it look like it slopes down from the top - similar, but not as slope-ish as the bottom. Obviously not eh.
Looks like I'll have a few more things to learn in the 'the gimp' image editor, but that is terrific.
Thank you Elan and Bob. Very very kind of you to go through the effort to take the pics. Nice.
Greg.

So am I. . But one thing is for sure .. it'll be better because of your efforts. Thank you again.
Greg.
EDIT: and the pencil rubbing is (excuse the pun) a stroke of utter genius my friend. Awesome - that might actually be the starting point.

I'll see if I can get a better rubbing with a different technique to only catch the high spots, it will make processing the image much easier (dad has a degree in photography and image manipulation is one of his things)

Take 2, hopefully between the 2 rubbings you can get something decent

Sweet, thank you Sir. I've a few thing to learn in gimp to get this one done I think! But thanks - I reckon I should be able to muster up something decent with those rubbings and the pics. Ace.
