HYLO vice spring
My hylo vice spring has seen better days and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if these springs are obtainable? by any chance. Thanks in advance. Ian

If we had a pic of your existing spring, someone may suggest an existing spring that is of a similar shape.

Its not impossible to DIY that spring assuming you can find suitable diameter wire. This Old Tony and Jeremy Schmidt have youtube vids, or #19 in the Workshop Practice series of books covers it all.

Spring makers will supply wire and or make up a spring for you. Making a single spring on a lathe isn't difficult. If you post the diam of the wire I can look up the correct arbor size in Machinery Handbook if you like.
