Purchased a couple of items of aliexpress on the 16th June and two of the packages turned up yesterday, just over a month. Happy enough with that.

I ordered 2x NT30-22mm face mill arbours, one turned up and I marked it as having received it.
The next day I checked the tracking number and found it was the second one sent a week later, a week later I received the first one, lol
I think it's customs on our end.
I haven't stopped ordering from AliExpress or eBay China.
Bought 2 tapered roller bearings from China through ebay and they arrived in 2 weeks.Using Tapatalk

If you see speedpac as the postage it's seems quick.
The bearings arrived, but I have now changed direction and won't need to make this worm box with them but will use them later, so didn't need them quickly anyway. Other stuff I'm really waiting on hasn't arrived, lol

Ordered some parts from China today. Delivery quoted to be 19th Aug to the 19 of Oct. Definitely covering their ass. The longest I have been quoted before is one month.

Hi Guys,
I'm still waiting for some carbide threading inserts ordered via Banggood on the 13th March, four months ago !
I've Emailed Banggood several times with very little response or effect. My last Email made it quite clear that I would not be ordering anything further from them and that I would make this information clear to all the forums that I'm a member of.
No response other than twice as many adverts from them ! Now getting two or three a day ! I check them for a response to my Emails about the lack of goods received and then delete them.
Stuff I've ordered via Aliexpress have arrived on time and in good order. So I'm happy about them.Best Regards:
Baron J.

I just looked up SpeedPak and I found this: What is SpeedPAK from China? What is SpeedPAK ? SpeedPAK service is brought to you by ebay and ebay's strategic partner, Orange Connex(China) Limited,. SpeedPAK is developed on the foundation of ebay's platform policy, then customized to provide direct mail service to e-commerce businesses in the great China region.
Some people are saying it's quick yet others are experiencing lengthy delays, all the same I will look out for SpeedPak on eBay.

I see AliExpress has the option of shipping from China or their Russian warehouse. Wonder if it makes a difference?

My Chainsaw seal removal tool arrived from Huztl today. Very happy with their shipping time and service as it was ordered on the 5th and arrived on the 23rd that only 18 days. I noticed on the parcel and I have seen it on a lot of other stuff that I've ordered from China in the Past - the parcel had an Address from Sydney on it. They must send a lot of stuff all in one go to Sydney and then it gets distributed from there ?.

In mid May I went to purchase some Loctite 272 (High Strength Hi Temp) for my DOP generator.
I only needed a small bottle (10mL) but could not find any in Australia so ended up ordered it from ebay HK.
The listing did not specify the amount and the price was $14 (inc postage) so I assumed I would get a small bottle.
Anyway, today it finally turned up (9 weeks) not that bad considering COVID etc.
However they did send me a 50 mL Bottle.
I doubt I will ever need that much.
I see it's now available locally for $14 a bottle for 10mL.

Recently I bought the green bearing setting 460 loctite from eBay out of HK.
They said it's use by date was 2020 and was $16 for 50ml and arrived in 1 1/2 weeks.
I was a bit sceptical as the Australian price is way more, but the bottle has the registered trademark etc and looks legit.
I don't need it for high precision job like a gearbox, I've just made a lot of bearing holders for a project I'm working on and left a little wiggle room for alignment between 2 halves after heavy welding.
I won't use it all this year so hopefully it lasts as I tape up all my bottle lids tightly with eleco tape (like they come from factory) when putting them away for some time.
For the small bearings I'm using maybe to great, as I put a little to much on my trial one and seezed the bearings completely, which took soaking in thinners to get them unstuck, lol.
There now spare bearings.Using Tapatalk

I've been waiting a week so far for a 16mm radius cutter from a place about an hours drive away. The stuff coming from OS doesn't look so bad now!
