    Default scissor knurling tool holders

    Hi.
Wanted to buy a scissor type holder off ebay.. around the $50 mark.. Indian made.. Has anyone had any experience with one of these cheapies.
I would assume that as long as the wheels are of sound material.. all should be OK !

    Hi Kenny, Guys,

I made my own way back in 2015. If you have a mill there is not much to them. I can't remember if I posted on here about them. I originally salvaged a pair of knurls from an old bump tool that I had found and have since bought some Chinese knurls for them.

I have one very similar to this and from this company, I am pretty sure it was made in China, I have only ever used it on brass, a mate has the same item and uses it two or three times a week
and it has been going for 2 years

    Hi Guys,

I've found a picture of mine

    14022015-2.jpg

I believe that one of these could easily be made with just a drill a hacksaw and a few screws.

I have a pair and I don't have any complaints about them other than being a bit bulky at times.

If you mean scissor knurls proper scissor knurls.jpg-this is the type I own.

I also have the LPRToolmakers ones in 16mm. Work great, I've used them on (annealed, obviously ) 1045. The default pitch is 1mm.
