My experience trying to match Kinchrome colours recently was that it’s near on impossible to have colours matched to Pantone numbers, very few places do it. Having a local supplier number or Base/Tint sequence makes it sooooo much easier.

My Dulux store scans paint samples and makes it form there...same for crash repair shops.

I think it looks reasonably good on the older vices - I'd take it over the Indian Red, but YMMV. It looks closer to the colour that I find on the older vices than the current darker maroon.
