    That's pretty cool Dave.

The number of times I've had to undo a clamp to slide another in after already starting a process....tslot sizing

Hi Steve, I tried to contact them today but they're not answering.
Do you have their phone number ? the numbers on their website seem really odd for a Victorian phone number.

They're mobile numbers - just look strange if you're not used to dealing with full IDD codes.
Just drop the +0061- on the front and add a zero
The second number is definitely the correct one for Alex who looked after me last time I was out there. 0430083332

I'll comment that it's currently Chinese New Year, so while I'd expect them to still be around there's a pretty good chance they're affected in some form.
You'd be best sending Alex a text on that number and go from there. I'm happy to drop over and pick a few things up and post to if its easier. PM me if you want and we can sort it out.
Not trying to push you into buying from them, but happy to help make it work if you do.

    Ah ok thanks for that.
I just noticed google reckons they're closed today, open tomorrow, so I'll just try them tomorrow.

oh and you might be able to answer this, they have slot drills but appear to be Weldon shaft. I've not seen them before, can they be used in an er32 collet or would that damage the collet ?

No personal experience with Weldon shanks in collets, but a quick search online turned up "works fine" with an unconfirmed caveat that you lose about 30% holding power on the collet.

    Good to hear.
Did you discuss postage cost? I know that's been a topic of discontent from some members but I've always picked up so not sure how they actually charge these days.
I'll hassle him about the image and listing for those cutters as its very misleading showing a picture of a set of cutters and a 1.5kg weight for just one cutter.

Please report back how you get on and what you think of the stuff when it arrives.

Yeah he said post should be around $30 for the lot. He said to just put in an order and not pay and they will send an invoice.
They definitely need to do something about their website. Wrong photos, no descriptions, fix phone numbers etc,,so yeah get stuck into them.
I would have liked to grab a large 2 flute slot drill in carbide but they're a little beyond my budget at the moment.

I agree, look at the weight and compare it on aus post site.
Then there is packing material, time to pack it etc.
Compare just the clamp set with H&F including postage, I'm sure just that one thing will easily show you a massive saving.

I couldn't believe how cheap there tooling was when I looked earlier following your links, thanks.

I always wanted a Australian company with cheap tooling like the USA guys have, I think I just found it and will be buying through them in the future.

Yep..I just tried that with H&F too. I set it for delivery from Vic and got $17.90.
Seems to me if you add a few small items that $30 would be fair.
    Notice H&F says it's 8.5KG, M&G productions calls it 14KG.
I did put the order in but I can't say I'm too happy with the freight cost.

At least overall the cost is still cheaper than elsewhere.

They might be using quick postage I'd say, like startrack etc. Still seems a bit steep though
