Drawbar Removal Tool
Got this in an email and thought it might be of interest to some of the members on here.
Ever been in the situation of putting the drawbar spanner down to pick up the hammer to knock out the drawbar, then realise it needs to be undone a bit more, but then can't find the spanner. Well, this could be your answer

Hi Kryn, Guys,
I recall seeing that idea on some forum years ago ! Indeed there was a commercial product available as well.Best Regards:

These days I use my 18v Makita impact driver to loosen and tighten the drawbar. Then the small steel mallet.

I gave up manually loosening and tightening the drawbar on my old vertical milling machine years ago, now I just push a couple of buttons for 8 second tool changes.
The design is similar to a "Kurt".

Hi Steve, I designed and built it to suit the machine, I now have to build another one for my Beaver Milling Machine. It will basically look the same with a few dimensions changed to suit with the same Electro pneumatic control as this one.

Nice work Lex.
Would love to see some of the build when you do the next one.
