    Default Milling machine diamensions

Does anyone have access to a Hafco metalmaster HM51 ?
Please, I just want to know its total height when the head is vertical and tilted ?
I'm worried about ceiling height and roller door height to get it in.

Just not sure if it will fit in my shed.

Ah cool ! Thanks...looks like it'll be an easy fit.

So is that horizontal figure basically the top of the ram ?

No , when the head is turned the quill feed sits about 70mm above the ram, this is with the quill feed handles removed.

If you are y'all you will need to raise it up. I raised mine 150mm, 100mm would do though as I allowed for my 50mm high dangerous goods platforms I stand on to let the chips go through instead of walking on them.

I've gote a 2.5 ceiling and the 150mm risers, so you definitely won't have a problem.
