Nice work on the spindexer Bob. I too bought one S/H several years ago and used it maybe once. It suffers from the same shortcommings as yours. I used it to make a fitting once and I was quite shocked at the lack of regidity in the setup, even with light cuts. The barrel clamp looks like a really good addition.

Your centering scope creates a very clear image and lends itself to great photos. Is that the one you modified a few years back, with LED lighting?

Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

    Same Isoma Simon.

Stuart " Stustoys" generously provided me with the LED ring light and I made the other bits.

    Hello John,

I just measured the thicknesses of my nine Starrett adjustable parallels and they vary from 6.8 to 7.2mm.

    Default Angel Eyes !

    Hi Guys,

Mentioning ring lights, I had ordered a couple a few weeks ago ! They turned up this morning !

    I'll take some pictures later.

Bob: Thanks for the dimension confirmation. I propose to make an adjustable parallel soon.
    Best Regards:
    Baron J.

    Default One More Thing

I made a simple dovetail spigot to enable the use of the indexer on some of my tool and cutter grinder attachments and on the vice base I made several years ago....

    IMG_20200206_154849862.jpg IMG_20200206_162315757.jpg IMG_20200207_151736191.jpg IMG_20200207_152446433.jpg IMG_20200207_153248304.jpg IMG_20200207_154130554.jpg

Could possibly prove handy for delicate work on the mill and should be a useful enhancement for the indexer on the grinder.
