Let’s Make It Expo. -Melbourne
Some of you maybe interested in this event this weekend.
I have been invited to exhibit and will have a display there. My first time attending so it will just be a static display & i’ll determine if a live demonstration is feasible for next year.
Only had a couple of weeks notice so been madly working on some bigger items to show. Hands are pretty sore, body’s tired but pleased with the outcome & off to set up today.
Please come & say g’day if you come.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

Just got back from setting up. So far myself & Eccentric engineering were the only ones set up.
There is an experimental motor bike and a German tank coming some steam & stationary engines so hopefully I’ll have someone watch my stand long enough to get around with the phone camera.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

That's the biggest problem doing shows like that on your own, trying to get someone to look after it so you can have a quick squiz, grab a bite or toilet break. BTDT
Hope you do well there. Make sure you have plenty of change, people like to come up with a $50 note for a $5.00 item.

I went to one of the expos a few years back, I think at Monash, it was great. Unfortunately I won’t be going as Dad is in hospital with a not good prognosis.

Nice to meet you too, and the other forumites both regular posters & lurkers!
One had an aspiring young Blacksmith with him so hopefully I have encouraged him to continue on his journey. He took home what will hopefully become a hammer.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for the pictures ! There are some wonderful works of art on show. I particularly like the V12 motor cycle and the ball clock. I hope you had a good time there.Best Regards:

Baron The Ball clock was pretty cool! The plan is to have the V12 bike finished mid next year for a ride across the USA. The same guy built the battle ship and the tank.
