    Default Qualos info help.

Hi all, I am currently preparing a qualos lathe and am interested in any info available on the company and its production. I believe I have a 5/1/2 but am not 100% yet as I'm only looking in Google. Uk lathes hold some info but nothing much in regard to what I have, is there info anywhere being australian I thought there would be a following like all the other makes. Thanks.

Hi and WECOME to a TOP FORUM.
Just did a quick search of our beloved Forum and found a link for you, there are several threads on/about the lathe.

One thing you could try is searching for articles, Ads etc in Trove.https://trove.nla.gov.au/

It might give you a few extra snippets of info - one thing this one has is the distributors listed so another thing to search on.

Here is one example from 1949 for Mars lathes - I would love a similar original ad for my my old Macson:

Thanks for the pic, looks excellent, apart from one thing, I had to stand on my head to see it properly.
    Thanks

    Hi Brett,

The secret is to edit the picture ! I do it by cropping and saving. This gets rid of the "Exif" information stored with the picture. You should find that after editing the picture will stay the way you want it.
