Found those pictures of the killrust epoxy enamel paint job a little bit more orange peel than i recall, these were panels no sanding no prep work they were going in the bin so thought i would paint them didnt even use a tack cloth

I sprayed these with that spray gun mentioned no water trap using a super cheap auto 25L direct compressor

Update had to call up Sydney Tools to check on the order hasn't been sent out yet i was told it will be sent out tomorrow afternoon so hopping it will be delivered early next week, That's 2 weeks wait Sydney to Sydney on the delivery but totally understandable that inventory goes out of stock fast on such a cheap product

for anyone buying from Sydney tools i called last week to confirm my order and was giving the head office in Sydney's number today when i called the sales guy said u can use the online msg thingy during business hours, For me someone picked up the msg instantly and once they had my invoice number getting information was very easy on order update

    so far so good

A bit disappointing guys i have just been in contact with Sydney Tools, my order was placed 28th of last month i have waited 12 days already they want me to wait another 10 days for their stock to come in, i usually buy tools either over the counter or something that arrives within 3 to 4 days, Is waiting 22 days acceptable? i asked about cancelling the order the lady mentioned they do it once a week on a friday so i would likely have to wait untill the following monday for cleared payment

wish they were honest and upfront instead of the 5 times contacting them and the rooting around being told different stories each time i make contact

From what i have gathered they did specially order in a air compressor for me it was sitting at one of the Sydney store and it must have been sold or one of the workers have taking it home i sat online waiting for there reply this afternoon as they checked to see when it would be posted that is when the lady came back and pretty much said i have to wait the 22 days

ended up asking for a swap kind of not happy with the replacement not quiet the 150 litre tank this one is 120 litre vertical tank no filter or water catch no added bonus accessories so i dont get the tyre inflator or spray gun but they did invoice the $899 compressor for $817 they only charged me $799

kind of bummed i didn't get that huge tank and huge pump

this one still puts out 13CFM FAD its rated 17 or 18CFM

Painful event is over guys i went into the store and just picked up the air compressor, it is a little different specs to the web site its 88kg not 60kg and its 13cfm I'm hopping that is FAD i will calculate it tomorrow and time the pump, tried wheeling it down my grassy driveway and the wheels broke both of them cracked badly due to the weight they are only flimsy wheels like u find on bbq's from bunnings, i had enough daylight to run her in but had to pack up

think i got last of this model the invoice said "NLA"

it's incredibly quiet air compressor much quieter than the Pilot Air and from my understanding this runs a ABAC B3800 pump clone

I used this calculator https://www.airgastech.com/resources/calculators.html pump off to pump on is 42 seconds, min 110psi, max 145psi, this air compressor is a genuine 13.19cfm or 4.39cfm per 1hp

This twin motor/pump compressor is up for auction not too far from me:
    https://www.allbids.com.au/c/industr...ressor-1067814

I'm guessing this could go pretty cheap, being large and 3 phase. I've been trying to convince myself that I have use for a machine this big, but despite my best efforts, I can't justify it...

Yep. Pity they didn't list the specs of the motors or pumps. Went for $116 in the end, which is an absolute steal if you had use for it.

I have 3 phase at the shed, but I just don't need that much air.

When i started the thread i had my eye on this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-PHASE-...app-cvip-panel
It was starting bid $200, buy now $300, but weighed 500kg on pallet i was unsure how to move it around the back yard i was going to put a 10-16hp petrol engine on it cheapest way to run equvillent 3 phase compressor at home
