    Default Devon Ipswich Lathe

Hi I have another metal lathe that was given to me by my uncle.
He acquired it through purchasing cars and tools out of an old mans shed.

I cant find any information on the brand at all.
Has anyone got any information about them?

Devon Ipswich QLD is cast into it.
Dont remember if there were any other markings.

Ill take some photos this weekend maybe for reference.

    Thanks

    Daniel

Looks like a copy of a Drummond lathe. Pretty simple little thing. That crack in the back headstock bearing is bad news.

Thats neat I know that Ipswich QLD railway workshops made lathes. There are people local I can ask.
