This style of surface grinder is inherently difficult to lift because of the lack of lift points. I have a "Robot" grinder which is similar to the Power and almost identical to the small B&S grinders.
I reluctantly drilled and tapped 2 M10 holes on each side of the base casting and bolted a piece of 75x75x10mm angle to each side and can now lift the machine safely and easily with perfect balance.
