PCD is for Pitch Circle Diameter. When you have to drill a series of holes in a circle.

The digital's come into their own for doing that, if you get that Mill it will come with a few books.
Grab the book for the digital's and check out "how to do a PCD", you will have to do it one day, so learn how to early.

Also for your first cheap end mills I can reccomend MZG carbide on AliExpress. Cheap and pretty good.

Default How did that work out

So @SpaceRage, your post raised a few responses and seems to be a perenial type of question. I'm having a similar dilema, and I wonder what sort of decision you ended up making and how it turned out for you?
