Default Beaver mill - part supplier,if any

    Hi guys,
Have started dismantling my newly acquired beaver mill and found the coolant pump has the dreaded alloy rot
Do any of you know if there is a parts supplier for these mills or perhaps a common pump for other applications -the pump has no makers name on it only "made in England" so it could have been supplied to other end users - will try to post photo later

Alf, what model Beaver is it?? Get a block of aluminium and machine one up, using the remains as a template.

Hi there. My surface grinder is english made. I can take a pic of the coolant pump if that helps. Realistically any coolant pump would do but making a new pump casing out of al would be pretty easy. The geometry of these pump housings are pretty basic which would include an inlet and oulet port and a bored out section to clear the impeller.
