    Default 1957 CVA Toolmaker Lathe

    If anyone is interested to see what Michael G's 1957 CVA Toolmaker Lathe looks like, grab Model Engineers Workshop, edition 251 and look at page 67. There's a pic of him too, and some of his items he's made.

    Sort of - they mixed the numbering up so in reality it is issue 252. It is the issue current in Australia though. It has a blue cover with a picture of a milling indexer on the front.
    I did a post on the refurbishment in 2011 (very similar information) but most of the pictures are missing now.

    I just walked into the newsagent and got a copy. Its funny seeing the forum posts and the projects in print.

    Thanks for the article Michael-enjoyed it. You did well with the CVA. Was good to also see some of your projects - in particular the milled 'fast' thread in pic 16. Was this a baler? Mark.
