Handle of the cva quill.
When I got my mill it was missing the handle for the quill. I really needed to drill some holes so I fabricated one from aluminium. I did see what the original handle looked like as it was on the CVA that morrisman purchased, I didn't really feel like making a period correct handle
I started with a 65mm diameter piece and used the rotary table to machine a boss, then over to the shaper to cut the clamping slot.
The handle itself is a pice of flat bar, I put it in the 4 jaw and machined the corners off and put an ergonomic taper on it. After welding the two pieces together I reamed the hole and now I have one functional drill handle.BETTER TO HAVE TOOLS YOU DON'T NEED THAN TO NEED TOOLS YOU DON'T HAVE
